SOC as a Service

A staffed security operations center,
without building one.

Covering every hour of the year takes several analysts, the platforms they work in and someone to run them. Intuitus SOC as a Service gives you that team on subscription, from our 24/7/365 U.S.-based SOC.

Build or buy

What running your own SOC actually takes.

A security operations center is more than a monitoring screen. Before it can protect anything, someone has to staff it, equip it and write down how it works.

Staffing

Nights, weekends and holidays need more analysts than one shift, plus cover when someone leaves.

Platforms

Endpoint, network, email and log tools to license, connect and keep tuned.

Playbooks

Documented procedures mapped to NIST, CJIS or HIPAA, kept current as attacks change.

What you get

Your SOC, run by our team.

  • 24/7/365 monitoring from a U.S.-based SOC
  • AI-assisted detection, with human analysts reviewing everything it flags
  • Threat hunting for activity that automated rules miss
  • Endpoint detection and response with Sophos MDR Complete
  • Network security monitoring with Security Onion
  • Dark web monitoring for exposed credentials, brand and executive data
  • Incident handling, with digital forensics when an event calls for it
  • Reports on every significant event, plus weekly and monthly reporting
  • Your event data and logs stay on your premises, inside the sensor that collects them
  • Analysts who learn your environment, with a dedicated analyst for some programs and a SOC manager who reviews events as needed

Reporting

You always know what we saw and what is still open.

When it matters

Any significant event is reported to you as it happens, not held for the next scheduled report: a short note on what happened and what we did about it.

Weekly

A short, readable roll-up of the week’s activity: what we saw, what we looked into and what we handled, plus industry-specific trends and threat intelligence.

Monthly

An executive overview of your environment’s security status, written for leadership in plain language, without the jargon.

Unresolved Actions Report (UAR)

A monthly list of every recommendation we have made that is still open, each one written so your team knows what to do next and nothing we flag gets forgotten.

Written by people

Every report is written by the analysts who watched your environment, not exported from a tool. We keep them short and easy to read, so the people receiving them understand what happened and are never buried in data.

SOC as a Service or MDR?

Two names for one program.

Intuitus runs one SOC. Managed detection and response is the name for what it does: find threats and contain them. SOC as a Service is the name for how you get it: a security operations center you subscribe to instead of staffing yourself. When you compare providers, ask whether their analysts contain threats or only forward alerts. That difference is covered in MDR vs MSSP.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is SOC as a Service?

SOC as a Service gives an organization a fully staffed security operations center on subscription, so it gets 24/7 monitoring, threat hunting and incident handling without hiring and training its own team. Intuitus delivers it from a U.S.-based SOC, and it is the same program that powers our managed detection and response.

What is the difference between SOC as a Service and MDR?

At Intuitus there is no difference in the work. Managed detection and response is what the SOC does for you: find threats and contain them. SOC as a Service is how you get it: on subscription, instead of hiring your own analysts.

How much does SOC as a Service cost?

Intuitus sizes each program to the environment, so there are no fixed public tiers. Cost depends mainly on how many endpoints, users and sites we monitor. Talk to an engineer for a scoped quote.

Does SOC as a Service help with compliance?

Yes. Monitoring and incident records map to the frameworks we work with, including NIST CSF and SP 800-171, CJIS Security Policy, HIPAA and NENA NG-SEC, so the evidence auditors ask for is produced as part of the service.

Where are your analysts located?

In the United States. The Intuitus SOC is U.S.-based and U.S.-operated, and Intuitus is a certified Veteran-Owned Small Business.
